Kill a Job in Progress

Fine-tuning jobs are resource intensive and can take a long time to complete. If you need to stop a fine-tuning job due to misconfiguration or the need to make other edits, you can do so using the following steps.

Before You Start #

• You must have already initiated a fine-tuning job in your project.

How to Kill a Job #

1. Sign in to GenAI Studio.
2. Navigate to the relevant project.
3. Select the Fine-tuning tab.
4. Find the row of the fine-tuning job you want to kill.
5. Select the ellipsis icon on the right side of the row and choose Kill from the dropdown.
6. To confirm, select Kill Experiment in the pop-up window.
